Every time that I try to post on mobile. I wonder if it'll do it now?

If this post gets through, then you need to regression-test with Firefox on Android, because something broke.

Vichan inherited an anti-bot system from Tinyboard that's kinda dumb. Basically, anytime you post, it adds a bunch of random input on the page. It's verified with a code that gets generated whenever you visit a page. Now, all the random shit has a tendency to confuse certain browsers, which is pretty bad, but that's not really something we can change. Another thing that you can avoid, however, is the time limit. If you were to go to this page, leave to go do whatever, and come back in a while, you'd be unable to post until you updated the page. This is because the codes have a time limit on them. It's a long time limit, but it's there nonetheless, and if you hit it, you will get this error literally forever until you F5 or go to another page.

There's also a limit to how many people can post within a short amount of time (It's not set to something that'll ever be reached on this site, though), there's a limit to how many times you can post within a short time frame (If you hit this, just wait a couple minutes and then post), and probably some shit I don't know about because I'm not a website person, but there. Try updating the page, try waiting a couple minutes, and if neither works, switch browser. Not really a solution, but again, I'm not a website maker person.

Oh, and the DNS servers also block some ISPs in certain countries that are known for having a lot of "activity" of the sort that they'd want to block. Supposedly.

This has been for a week at least, F5ing won't solve anything. Chaptor said he had the same problem.

If only we had someone that was that wanted the job
Oh wait we do >>829

And have you tried switching browser? Are you experiencing this across multiple devices (Computer, phone, tablet, whatever)? Are you always on the same network when it occurs?

As for the second part, you're barking up the wrong tree. But if you want this specific problem fixed, it would probably be in your best interest to provide me with some info on what you're doing, what you're using, etc. so I can try and narrow down why this happens to some users and not others. Like BB did above, by informing us that she's experiencing the issue with Firefox on Android. It could be an update for a certain browser that's causing trouble, it could be certain IPs that are blocked by the server, etc.

Yeah but you live in the same house as the right tree.

It's on FF on my computer, I use dolphin on my android don't get that message. That's how I'm posting without pics right now.

I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox and I get the same error when posting without an image. Seems like it might be the latest Firefox update that's causing it, given that BB was also having trouble on Firefox.

That one was successfully posted from Firefox with a picture, so that seems to work. After posting, however, I got a message from Firefox asking me if I wanted to store my login info. I'm not logged into my mod account on Firefox, so that can't be it. I think some of the junk data that Vichan uses to confuse bots might be confusing the latest version of Firefox. Why it only happens when posting without images, I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure image-posting bypasses some of the security measures in the background.

I think the stuff it was asking you to save was the password to delete posts, I've gotten that other places too, I just click ignore

Might very well be. I use Chrome, so I haven't really seen it before.

Putting this out there, if you want, I'll do what I can to help.
