I don't have money
I also don't have a PS4 and I doubt this dinosaur I'm on can run it, so it'd require a pretty significant investment of money I don't have
Time to dig in the couch
It's not just a rumour, there's video footage now
Drawing hands is hard.
ACTUALLY, NO, HOLD UP! They are using their hand to steady the rifle when they have a BIPOD?
I am legitimately upset right now. I knew anime was bad! I KNEW IT!
Do you not rest a gun on your thumb nail when you shoot? Pussy.
Life is hard for lefties, don't judge
Iron Fist has professional body guards that probably have experience with killing people who shoot sideways like they gangsta. It was actually pretty funny.
DON'T MAKE EXCUSES FOR IT!
Maybe she just doesn't have the time to do It?
There's plenty of reasons for it. You're just retarded.
The internet is full of bad things.
Only your grumpy opinions can stop it.
In the situation where you don't have a brace, shooting stick or tripod, using the space between your thumb can substitute the v shape of a shooting stick somewhat I guess. Not the first time I've seen something like that, but obviously if you have control over your weapon it's not a problem. Perhaps it's because it's too heavy for her.
Meganoid is getting a remake in 6 days, and unlike the original, it's actually to my tastes, and really, really good.
Specifically, they turned it from a Megaman clone to a hybrid of metroidvania gameplay and roguelikes/lites. Think Spelunky, but with upgrade-scouring, keycards, and lots of lasers.
The way they handled precision platforming in a procedurally generated game is interesting - they made the most common drop, and only real reliable weapon, bombs that affect terrain. So if you get stuck, see an upgrade inside of a room with no doors, or maybe if you're just trying to hurry things along, drop a bomb there. It'll destroy a ~3x3 of tiles and let you walk/drop through it. I've been having a lot of fun with that.
I've been playing the "unreleased" version for a week now and it's become my #1 goto game for pulling up, playing for 9 minutes and dying horribly.http://store.steampowered.com/app/606030/
HOLY FUCK THEY ACTUALLY DID IT
6 GIGS OF PERFECTION RIGHT THERE FUCK
I miss my awesome dragonborn barbarian
I also miss my awesome badass bully.>that feel when EVERYONE wants to be the malicious blood thirster
Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to.
The soonest I'll be leaving will be either the 12th of next month or the 24th depending on which airline I end up with.
You will be another bussy blogger?
You will keep reminding us over and over how bussy you are?
I have only heard the 'oo' version of it, and I say it like that myself.
it's definitely "oo." He's named after a plant called guzmania, which is probably the best name of a plant ever.
Probably the ghost of Hitler.
Don't take it as soon as you find it, wait until you have a squad of 5 or so. Be very slow moving; you don't have a time limit and you have infinite ammo. If at all possible try to get some tier 2 tech, and specialists are super viable as every enemy is a robutt.
Highest priority is bring a couple of decent level units.
Then when you got all that sorted just get lucky lol lmao that's eggscon
The same way you beat anything in any other Xcom game.
You cheese the fuck out of it.
I mean the boss of the 3 levels is a fucking sectopod
so it's not like it was playing fair to begin with. What's with the XCOM 2 mentality of hitting below the belt?
Okay, so, what if we make a class basically a meele class, and then make most enemies instakill you if you walk up to them with priority over your attack? That'd be fun, right?
For what it's worth, I was able to make it all the way up to the third floor with just two rangers, Lily, and a rando squaddie grenadier all geared with starting equipment on my first go. I only hit a problem on the third floor because by that point I was running dry on explosives and I couldn't shred the sectopod's armor fast enough.
Yeah, had the same issue. Won by pure luck on the rolls. I think anything short of lvl 2 is suicide.
>look into Andromeda's guns
>That fucking list and process
Holy shit I'd drop the game for the fucking menu system itself let alone all the other fuckery
"Early Access to Death"
"I Regret Everything About Andromeda"
"I Could'a Bought Groceries"
"The Ruined Christmas"
"Grandma I asked for Mass Erect: Assdromeda"
Uhh, Joker was okay.
Uhhhhhh. Yeah that's about it.
Gods don't die.
And Tali has hips and that's about it.
Mordin is in Scientist Salarian tier. >>390031>Mixture of biotic and engineer.
You mean Sentinel?
Mordin never died; he transcended.>>390035
Master race not included in tier list. STG game.
That sounds like desperation more than actual character building.
Oh, you like Wrex? w-well our Krogan is waaaay cooler and like 10,000 years old and also stronger.
Also Elvis-haired dead guy from the last game is praised for being able to control his L2 biotics? WELL, OUR LADY BIOTIC IS TRAINED BY ASARI COMMANDOS AND IS THE STRONGEST EVER
Like, eat my ass, Montreal.
I should've phrased it better.
Fun fact: Krogan's actually live for as long if not longer than Asari. And no he isn't meant to replace Wrex. Just to be something new.
She's not the strongest ever. She's just Really
I think she's stronger than Jack even.>>390044
It is if we've never had a class in specific way before.
>>390045>Something new>Old Krogan>That's pretty much his only personality trait
Wow it's like I haven't seen at least twelve of those in the last three games.
>She's not the strongest ever
Wow so a lamer Jack, how great.>>390046
Not much to say if the shitty Jack character is better than what'sername>>390046
It's so great having a character to help you with such an array of skills OH WAIT YOU CAN BE EVERY CLASS AT ONCE WHAT'S THE FUCKIN POINT TO CARE ABOUT WHAT ONE SKILL A BIOTIC HAS>>390047
This was discussed in ME1.
Christ you're slow.
You learn PeeBee's real name in her character bio. It's "Pelessaria B'sayle".>>390064>>390062
I only just started ME1 recently.
>I only just started ME1 recently.
Well no wonder you like Andromeda
Ahaha, those critters are basically the best things. Acquire too much knowledge and you start seeing things you shouldn't.
Wouldn't golden ammo be horrible to use?
gold is a soft metal and soft point ammo exists so I imagine it could be made to have similar properties, but it all depends on it having a stronger jacket and velocity at which it would be fired
>go to store
>gym across the street is a level 1 Instinct gym
>get what I need
>gym across the street is now a level 4 Valor gym
Why are Valors more likely to team up to take over a gym?
Also I hatched a Snorlax
Because instinct doesn't give a fuck
I have a feeling the fuck has been always there. Like, I know he was, I just couldn't see him, but considering the shit they've been revealing to me as I got through the story, I have a feeling it wasn't even invisible, my character just kind of refused to acknowledge it.
Like how those gravetender guys with the lanterns, they're lanterns suddenly had eyes on them after I got more insight.
Because you're told what each team means when you go to join one, and thus everyone is on one that matches their personality.
Valor are obsessed with power and winning.
Mystic are obsessed with looking clever.
Instinct want to play by ear and be individuals.
This is why the gym balance always goes Valor>Mystic>Instinct.
Because Valor grind all day everyday to beat their enemies to a pulp and hear the lamentations of their women, Mystic want to show they're above all that and can still dominate but are unfortunately spending most of their time studying for irl exams or reading or something, and Instinct run around like chickens with their heads cut off, never organizing more than 2 people strong and mainly giving their pets cute names.Fuck yeah Instinct, no regerts
Shen's Last Gift: Bullshit
Alien Hunters: Triple bullshit
seriously whoever decided to give these little shits a free action after literally everything you do deserves to be in solitary confinement right now because they are clearly a menace to all around them
Shen's Last Gift: Unnnecessarily difficult and rule-ignoring but not horrific. Good for one playthrough because all the content is still in the game if you disable it.
Alien Hunters: Quadrouple Ultra Bullshit.
But now I have to ask you, if I made an enemy that can not only instakill your units, but also insta-unconcious, apply debuffs and dots, and on top of that add in a health bar so juicy sustained fire from all of your units is the only way to stop it within any reasonable time frame…
Wouldn't it just make sense that it gets to go 4-5 times per round? I mean, why wouldn't it? It's already at such a disadvantage. Personally I think a game desgined so that every victory is with a hair thin margin of error; you really do need an enemy that breaks the rules, you can not avoid, and that gets to do as many things per round as it damn well pleases.
General reminder that the Viper King being able to grab and constrict one of your units, and then doing constriction damage EVERY action you take is completely fair and not loads of bullshit.
>>390208>Crack helmet.>use omni-tool to fix it.>Crack helmet again.>Dad takes off his and gives it to you.
Yeah I noticed that too.
Or switching helmets for three minutes back and forth.
I mean fuck it's only the first fie minutes of the game.
Or hey, here me out…
Maybe it can only fix cracks that are up to a certain size and everybody who complains about this is fucking stupid?
Well that wasn't omni-gel.>>390216
He was probably too old anyway.
>>390225>The fabrication module can rapidly assemble small three-dimensional objects from common, reusable industrial plastics, ceramics, and light alloys. This allows for field repairs and modifications to most standard items, as well as the reuse of salvaged equipment.
>Omni-gel is composed of common, reusable industrial plastics, ceramics, and light alloys kept in a semi-molten state. Being able to render non-essential upgrades and weapons into omni-gel allows them to remain useful while reducing weight.
literally two minutes on wikia
people who aren't wrong
man, I love Xcom 2 so far but fuck me if there aren't a lot of things to complain about.
why the hell is success and failure a completely binary setting? or, more accurately, why do I get a big fat MISSION FAILED for evacuating my troops because a Codex appeared way before I was equipped to deal with it, even though I completed the objective and killed every other enemy?
Bradford is a bloodthirsty monster.
I don't wanna get it since there's no mec troopers
>the Godly predecessor, Ultra Street Fighter IV
has it been done
have we found the single dumbest combination of words ever spoken by a human being
something something video games.
People looking back and now calling Ultra good is the best meme
personally, I hated SF4, and 5 is probably my personal favorite SF to play
though if we could just get a remastered version of Alpha 3 with less weird controls, I'd be all over that shit
Persona 5 is pretty gr8.
It's being stated so much, but it really does exude style. I love it.
>>390524>playing the Sea of Thieves Closed Alpha last weekend>as my crew is bringing a treasure chest on board, another group gangs up on our ship>one of my crew says "c'mon guys, can't we handle this like men">the other team's reply is "we ARE handling this like men, you scurvy dogs">meanwhile I've been using my bucket to dump water below their deck as they argue
Is it possible to waifu a video game?
'Cause I just played it from around 9:40 to almost 4:30 and I think I'm in fucking love.
so I'm finally getting around to finishing up Doom 4
is the cyberdemon supposed to be this big of a chump? all I had to do was shoot at it and jump out of the way when it shot something at me. I feel like it wasn't really enough of a threat to match up all the hype preceding it.
I've already put around 25 hours in, and that's with studies.
So who you gonna waifu?
I'm going for the teacher.
I'm actually impressed with how much ALL the girls are tempting me. I'm not gonna attempt harem, but it's gonna be tough to narrow down one.
No, do the harem thing and then find out if it makes you ruthlessly dump all but one like p4g
>I've already sunk over 50 hours into Persona 5
>the story is reaching its climax, so I'm probably not gonna be slowing down soon
oh, I guess I caught up to Persona 5's opening now
Persona 5 is really good. My brother won't let me play it without him, though, so our pace is somewhat sluggish. I'm maybe 1/3 of the way through the second palace.
The character cut-ins after a hold-up finish just never get old. It's so stylish, and the all-out attack is a big improvement from P4's fog cloud with onomatopoeia coming out of it. The stealth mechanics are fairly well-integrated and streamlined, and don't feel like a chore. It's definitely more mature, and the red and black color scheme reflects that, but it's not without its fun moments (though the entire start of the game is pretty much completely hostile to you). I like being a slick phantom thief, and that's what you feel like playing it.
I wish they'd let me spend my evenings however I want, though. I can't do anything most evenings because you have to go directly to bed after most events and whenever you explore a dungeon. I haven't made one lock pick since the tutorial. In addition, from the first to the second palace, it doesn't feel like events have escalated. In fact, the consequences of the first palace were much more near, immediate, and dire. Compared to that, the second feels a little lacking. Maybe it will escalate soon, though. I don't know.
Seriously enjoying it so far, though, as is my little brother. It's hard to put it down once you've started playing.
I had the option to waifu Tae, I should've.
I guess either Makoto or the teacher it is!
She does grow on you. The game has too many good options, though.>Takemi>Kawakami>Makoto>Haru>Futaba>forgot her name, but chuuni shogi girl a cute
yo holy shit Bayonetta got released on Steamhttp://store.steampowered.com/app/460790/
buy it so that Bayonetta 2 can escape the eternal unending hell dimension of Wii U exclusivity
RE4 wasn't published by Nintendo.
Nintendo is ridiculously protective of their IPs.
So it's a no hope sorta chance.
Yeah, that's not happening. Your best hope is for a Switch port that hits 1080p docked or something.
There IS a pretty good chance for a port of Vanquish at 1080p/60fps with mouse aim, though.
spark do you still play sonic on your vita
I don't think there is a sonic game on Vita. Sonic Mania would be dope with that dpad though.
theres like 4 sanic games for the vita
I'm putting myself through the ringer trying to avoid p5 spoilers but I had to know.
This is amazing.
Futaba is cute as fuck, i love her outfits and her posture
but like, she's too out there
one of her voice lines is "ex-squeeze me," which i didn't like
the video game stuff can get annoying too
i really liked her arc and enjoyed hanging out with her, but i wouldn't start a relationship with her
also i can't see her as not a sister
I don't like her, I haven't met futaba yet though
I'm leaning towards the teacher right now
teacher is alright, i don't like her as much as most people do
her confidant is useful af tho
why do you not like Makoto?
Pretty sure you just linked the exact same video in Jap
Nobody told me about this. This is the greatest thing.>>390842
I was leaning towards Ann before I met the teacher, and still haven't met Futaba actually. I like fortune teller because shes cute and also Miyu's last role before she died, but not enough to spend all that money on her.
I'm thinking about shogi girl right now.
What game is everyone talking about? What's this about romancing characters?
Is it one of those games where you have to play previous titles to get half of what's going on?
I literally have had no interest in Persona prior and picked this up on a whim with next to no research about it, simply because I wanted to play an RPG
>only for PS3/PS4
So I beat Persona 5.
>the ending is literally shooting god in the face with a giant gun
That's a pretty sexy model. Is it a rip or a
do more DPS than him
protect protag over everything
Debuff Mouth and Nose.
Keep Morgana for those constant aoe heals.
So EA actually listened to people now:>Classes are back>All eras are in the multiplayer now. Episode 1-Episode 7>There's a single player campaign and it's canon>The single player campaign is the empire game people have been asking for years for>You actually play as and stay loyal to the empire throughout, no betraying and joining the rebels>The campaign spans 30 years, from the final years of the empire to an unknown point in the first order's history>You play as the leader of an elite storm trooper squadron>No season pass at all this time around
Where were you when EA did everything right?
They'll fuck it up, I'm sure.
Also too lazy to read what you wrote about it, but I'm sure it has DLC of some sort, so nah.
>>390932>females in the game
I'm sure discussion about this game will be nice and civilized and not a bunch of alt-right vs sjw shitfest.
Battlefield 1 was pretty good.
Regardless, It'll be the last EA game I buy if it sucks.
nah man, that's not the way
then tell Sae that you know what her sister tastes like
Wow, good job. Uh.
Could they? Old games benefited from an evolving awkward form of tech where they definitely benefited from a strange apave pearances low polygon counts gave them and janky movement patterns complemented the whole look. Needless to say how freaky all the dark contrasted colors horror games were once rendered in. You can't really replicate it now without some chump calling it lazy or coming off disingenuous to most people. Or maybe too many horror games give too much control to the player now, who knows.
One would think advances in graphical rendering, virtual reality, and other technologies which lend themselves well to immersive game experiences would create lots of potential for good horror games.
What? A game doesn't need to be janky-looking to have atmosphere. A good horror game never lets you get a good look at the monster(s) anyway, things are scarier if you don't even know what's chasing you.
Single player in general needs a comeback
I was just thinking about that. I scrolled through the games I've been playing and it was FFXIV, Killing Floor, Overwatch, For Honor, Vermintide… then New Vegas and dicking around on Total War stuff. That said I need to get on Witcher 3 but I kinda dread learning the controls after the first two.
Oh no that's not what I meant at all. They could make a great comeback. Im just saying the limitations of old consoles really gave scarier parts of video games a better atmosphere. Intentional or not.
Even the Flood levels from Halo were spooky as hell. But somehow in Halo 3 they lost some of that edge. Maybe it is general developer's missing something.
Like StarShine said maybe VR will help bring it back.
We both know your shit talk fu is weak as hell. It'll be years before you can defeat anyone with actual knowledge in the arts.
You're 100 years too early.
Oh yeah, let me show you how good I am:lmao made u look ur ghey XD
Consider yourself Sun Tzu'd. PEACE.
